Create: Happy Birthday Cards (and they're for sale!)

I am blown away by the fact that greeting cards in the store are so expensive these days. I see some that look homemade but obviously aren't and they're $5-6 each. I just can't justify spending that much on something that most people will throw away (the horror!!).

So today I decided to make a few more "happy birthday" cards while the kids were napping. I wanted to make the four as a set so that I could post them on Etsy and see if they get any views. I figured if they don't sell I'm only out a little bit of time and the $0.20 listing fee so I thought I'd give it a shot. There are SO many sellers on Etsy with cards that I'm sure I'll get lost in the shuffle but at least if they don't sell I'll have birthday cards for friends and family. These I lined completely with white paper which I feel loses some of the fun of the transparency sheet, but they're still really cute!

This post is part of my series for 2010 where I create something as often as possible (I realized that every day was unattainable for me).
