easy one cup smoothie

My kids are constantly asking me to make them smoothies - we love them in our house! Soon I'll try a green smoothie and will let you know how they are. I just can't imagine that you can't taste the spinach, but I digress. I've come up with a super easy way to make a smoothie using just one cup and a smoothie. Yum-o, here we go!
fill your cup with berries, almost to the top.
I used strawberries, blueberries & raspberries.

fill it in halfway with juice and top it off with vanilla yogurt

throw it all in the blender...if you want it more frozen
throw in some ice cubes or use frozen fruit

enjoy! yum!
Do you have any fun smoothie recipes to share with us?

  1. I do a similar smoothie, strawberries, blueberries,a little raw spinach, ff greek yogurt (plain), ff milk (I like it better than juice because of the added calcium and protein), scoop of flaxseed. And because of my sweet tooth, I always add oney, like the real, local, unfiltered stuff. Soo yummo!

  2. Yum! I was also skeptical of the people telling me they can't taste the spinach in the green smoothies, but then we made one last week and you really can't...just the pure goodness :)

  3. We make smoothies at our house all the time too...and with spinach! Can't taste it, I swear! I make ours with a banana, a handful of frozen strawberries or frozen mixed fruit, handful of spinach, milk, yogurt, and a tablespoon or so of flaxseed. YUM! :)
