Today we did our annual Susan G. Komen Central Indiana Race for the Cure to help research a cure for breast cancer. We're celebrating my mom being cancer free for 17 years. I still remember driving in the car on the way to the hospital when we found out that the lump in my mom's breast was cancer. I'm so grateful to God that her body was healed and that she is still with us, even after a few scares in the past few years. And remember, both women AND men can be diagnosed with breast cancer, so be aware of changes in your breasts!
I just started a blog on my walk. I will be walking in the weekend to end woman's cancer in Vancouver B.C Im so excited!Im so happy for you that your mom is ok :)
