It's Autumn!!

Fall is my favorite season. I love the fact that you can wear jeans, shorts, long sleeves, scarves...whatever you want and you'll be comfortable. I love the beauty of the changing leaves and the variations in color that God gives them. I love caramel apples, hot apple cider and taco soup in the fall. I {almost} miss the fact that we had huge trees in our old yard that would cover our lawn with crunchy leaves {...almost}. So last night instead of being lazy when we first get home - which is what we usually do, getting dinner ready and the kids play - I decided we were going to do a craft with some of the crunchy leaves that had fallen outside. This is what we did...

What an easy and fun project! Little E didn't want to stop painting, but anyone who knows me knows that I am not the most patient person with messy things. The kids enjoyed it, which is the most important thing in the end.

  1. What a neat project and one that your kids will remember in the years to come.
