About a week ago I decided that I was going to use a vacation day for my birthday. I really wanted a day to just do whatever I wanted to do. It's my birthday, after all. Some mom's don't get it - why I would still take my kids to the sitter. But everyone has their own way to relax and refresh their mind. So I took the day off and decided that I wouldn't have a plan, I'd just do whatever I felt like doing. It was a great, productive day...
Woke up at 6:30am to the sound of a loud truck zooming down our road.
Came out of my closet to my two smiling children and husband with 2 handmade bday cards and a gift.
Opened the gift to see an awesome outfit from Ann Taylor Loft and Krispy Kremes!
Hubby went off to work, kids went to the babysitter. I enjoyed Starbucks. Came home and sewed.
I went to the fabric store and Goodwill to see what treasures I could find (can't wait to show you what I do with this stuff from Goodwill!!).
Picked up fruit and veggies from the co-op.
BBQ pork nachos for lunch - yum!
Dishes, laundry, blah, blah, blah.
Sewed some more. Lots of Christmas presents!
Got out some jewelry orders.
Spray painted 2 of the Goodwill finds.
Cuddle time with the kids before dinner.
Hubby came home, my parents came over and we all headed to Houlihan's. My mom picked out some great fabric for me (below)
Kids went to bed and the 4 adults played Euchre (Dave & I DOMINATED).
Caught up on emails, talked my hubby into a short massage, then bed.
I am so incredibly blessed - God has been so good to me (even in the hard times) for the past 31 years. He is always faithful and generously blessing my life. Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes yesterday!

Don't forget about Bracelets for Goats!
Awesome! I can't wait to get a better look at your LOFT outfit and see what you do with the fabric. I love the teal, black, and white!
