Chair-Redo, Done!

Remember this chair from 2 months ago? Well I finally took the time to strip the old fabric, paint it and reupholster it. Taking off the old fabric and staples took about 2 hours so I wondered what I had gotten myself in to. Thankfully the end result was worth it. There are a few "oops" that I won't bring to your attention, but all in all I like it. I do wish I would have chosen fabric that would be more neutral in case I change my bedding, but that's okay. Here is the transformation...

Finally done - 2 months later!

  1. Looks great! I came ---> <--- close to reupholstering my couch one year when we lived in Texas. Chickened out.

  2. Holly - no way I'd do a couch...unless I took a class. The chair was enough work in itself!
