Chair-Redo, Step 1

The kids and I drove to a local park to swim and on the way we saw a garage sale. I spotted an old chair that could be redone for our bedroom. I drove past the sale and then turned around. I'm not the type to purchase something at a garage sale to be redone later (I'm crafty but not THAT crafty). I looked at the chair and it was only $3 so I figured I couldn't go wrong. It's not that pretty, but it's loaded with potential. We'll see how it goes...
