Transaction 1:
L'Oreal EverPure hair products are on sale for $6.99 each and you get $5 ECB's back when you buy (WYB 2).
Purchase: 2 EverPure @ $6.99 each = $13.98 plus tax.
Use: 2 newspaper coupons for $2 off each and I had $5 in ECB's from a previous transaction.
Paid: $5.89 out of pocket and received $5 back in ECB's.
Transaction 2:
John Frieda hair products are on sale for $5 each and you get $3 ECB's WYB 2.
Purchase: 2 John Frieda products @ $5 each = $10 plus tax
Use: 1 coupon for $3 and 1 coupon for $2 (both newspaper), $5 ECB's from previous transaction
Paid: $0.70 out of pocket and received back $3 in ECB's
Transaction 3:
Gilette Fusion razors are on sale for $9.97 with $5 ECB's back.
Purchase:
- Gillette Fusion razor @ $9.97
- 4 Skinny Cow ice cream cups @ $1 each
- 2 packs of M&M's @ $0.50 each (filler)
- Orbitz gum @ $1.29 (filler)
- CVS coupon that printed with last transaction for $5 off $15 purchase
- $4 newspaper coupon for razor
- 4 Skinny Cow coupons for $1 off each
- $3 ECB's from last transaction
Total for the 3 transactions I paid $7.54 and came away with $5 in ECB's to use next time. The price I should have paid for everything (with the sales but if I didn't use any coupons) would have been $40.23. I tried to make this understandable but it still might be confusing so if you have any questions let me know!
What I got:
2 L'Oreal EverPure shampoo/conditioner
2 John Frieda shampoo/conditioner
Gillette Fusion razors
4 Skinny Cow single serve ice cream cups
2 pkg m&ms
Orbitz gum
You are my kind of girl :o) Gonna try this myself, thanks for sharing.
