Entryway Spring Re-Do

A few weeks back I was inspired by The Pleated Poppy's post about her new hanging lanterns. I also have an affinity for glass jars and decided to do something about my too-small front porch {if you can even call it a porch}. There is little room to have anything decorative in my entryway beyond things that are hanging. So I took 5 of my Ball glass jars, wrapped some wire around them and attached them to some chain from Home Depot.

To the first jar I added some sprigs of lavender that
were just starting to bloom and a gorgeous peony.

There are two jars to either side of the entryway and three on the left side.

The center jar to the left is currently filled with tulips that were just about
to fade away from my garden. To the left and right are two other jars filled
with shells from our travels and they each have a tealight inside.

I thought the tulips were lacking something on their own, so I added some sprigs
of lavender there as well. I love the extra oomph that the green makes.

I'm loving the way the 5 look together. Hubby's afraid that when a big wind
comes that we'll have shattered glass everywhere...time will tell.

The last thing that I did was add some vinyl to my front door from Uppercase Living that says "Love, Laughter, and Friendship always welcome here". It's beautiful and I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of that too to show you. If you'd like your own Uppercase Living vinyl, see my awesome friend Stephanie!

Did you get to spend some time outside this weekend??
