10 Minute Shirt Re-Do

I wanted to make Ellie a shirt to match her skirt for fall (I'm thinking brown or pink tights and some cute boots) so I bought this $4 long sleeve T at Meijer. This was so easy to do and only took about 10 minutes. Not too bad to make a simple t super cute.

I asked the woman at the local fabric shop what I needed to adhere fabric to fabric and she gave me this white paper below. I think she might have called it steam'a'seam. Not sure though - sorry!

Iron the fabric on to the shiny side of the sticky paper.
I used my Cricut to cut a flower and then cut it by hand out of the fabric.
Peel off the backing, you'll feel that the fabric is sticky now on the back.
Iron it on the shirt for a few seconds until it's set.
Sew a zig-zag stitch around the center of the flower. *you can skip this step
Done! Super cute set. (excuse the bed, I was washing the sheets. But you can see our new paint color!)
