Referral Bonus

I am thinking of doing a referral bonus through my website for my customers. When one of my customers refers someone else who makes a purchase online, they will get some incentive for bringing in the sale. What do you all think? Would a referral bonus help you to tell others about my website and products? What type of bonus would you like that would be fair to everyone involved? Would it be a $ amount off, % off, free product, etc?

    Brilliant idea, Amy! I would want a free product - but one of the less expensive ones. I could choose one of the $15 or less items.
