3 New Products in the Shop

In the last 24 hours I've added three new sterling products to the shop. I added a sterling 1" washer, a sterling milestone necklace and a sterling puffed heart necklace. I hope to add another sterling washer in the coming weeks that is a little bit larger.

Tomorrow we leave for our family Thanksgiving vacation to Gulf Shores, Alabama. Our daughter is so excited to go to the beach. I can't wait to see her face when we finally get there!

Where to find me...

I've been contacted a few times in the last couple of weeks about retailers interested in carrying my items. Needless to say this has excited and scared me at the same time. I currently work full time and have two beautiful kids and a wonderful husband to tend to. But my goal is to grow my business so I have to put my fears aside and enjoy the ride! Today I looked on Emmie Kate's website and realized that she has my items up already! I am excited to see where this goes and the prospects of it.

I thought it might be helpful for all of my customers to know where to find me so here you go!

Martinsville Artesian Craft Fair

This past weekend my friend Jaime and I participated in the Martinsville Artesians Craft Fair. There were 160 vendors and we were in the hallway of the Middle School. The Gym is prime retail space so next year we might try to get in there. At any rate, the fair was a success for both of us. Craft fairs are always a toss up; I've been to some that definitely aren't worth it and some that have been very good for business. I got to meet a lot of sweet people with kind words about my jewelry as well as Jaime's cards. We had a lot of laughs and smiles on Saturday. I had a lot of people walk by and take cards for possible stamped orders. I look forward to trying the fair again next year and maybe seeing some of my new customers again! Thanks to everyone who came out!

I'm ready for the fair to start! Like my sign?

Facebook and Twitter

I just wanted to make you all aware that I do have both a Twitter and Facebook Fan page for my business. Be sure to check them both out at the links above or to the right. They're a great way to keep updated on new items, sales, craft fairs, etc.

Etsy's Hompage!

Apparently one of my items made it to Etsy's homepage in the middle of the night (for me) at 3am. It sold 40 minutes later so I didn't get much exposure, but I'm glad I got some! It was my Itty Bitty Bangle Bracelet Starter. I'm so excited!

Christmas Open House

Last year I hosted an Open House at our new house and have had requests to do it again this year. It'll be on Tuesday, December 1st from 6:30-8:30pm - mark your calendars! I'll be selling personalized jewelry, beaded jewelry, paper goods, girls barrettes and gift tins. Bring in a non-perishable food item for a food pantry and receive 10% off your purchase! If you can't make it to the party, feel free to contact me about an online party or to get together to personally look at the items. It's open house style so come whenever you are able during those 2 hours! Please feel free to invite and/or bring your friends! There will be lots of food, music and enjoying each others company!

If you'd like to earn free merchandise, please contact me at amy@amycornwell.com to discuss an online jewelry show. If you are local and need my address, please email me!

Repurposed Spice Rack

In my attempt to de-clutter the house yesterday I came across the spice rack sitting on my counter that was a wedding gift from almost 8 years ago. 3/4 of the spices hadn't even been opened so I emptied them all out and thought I can do something with this! I wasn't sure what exactly I was going to put in it. I knew it would either be crafting items or beading items. When I finally got it all put back together, I decided I'd use it for ribbon and then I had space left for some brads, clips and metal words. I'm excited that it can sit right on my table top and items won't get forgotten as easily now!

Clips & Tins

Today the kids took a L-O-N-G nap and allowed me to get the lower level of our house cleaned as well as get ready for the Artesian fair next weekend. I got product priced and bags/receipts/business cards stocked and then I had time to make some clips & tins. I love making them. They are so fun and I love to use all of my scraps of patterned paper. Since Christmas is coming, I made a whole set of "Merry Christmas" tins and clips to hold gifts or clip gifts together. So far I'm making progress...

If you'd like to see me and my friend Jaime (she makes greeting cards) at the Fair, come see us on Saturday, November 14th from 9am to 3pm at East Middle School in Martinsville, IN.

Sparkles, gold and silver

I'm getting ready for the Martinsville Artesan Craft Fair in a few weeks and wanted to make some new necklaces. I found some beautiful Swarovski crystal briolettes that were just asking for me to design something with them. I paired them with some long link chain and I am so excited to share them with you! In the coming days I'll post them on Etsy and my personal website for you to (hopefully) enjoy as well. Stay tuned!
