Interesting Customers

I had a lady purchase a mini necklace the other day but she wanted me to stamp the f-word on it. I replied back to her that I would not stamp curse words and offered to refund her money. She brought up the issue of free speech in her reply back to me which I thought was interesting. I never told her she couldn't use that word, I simply told her that I retained the right to not stamp inappropriate content (using my freedom of speech and the right to refuse a sale for any reason). Long story short, I refunded her money.

It's funny though, God blessed me as a result of my obedience. I had two new orders yesterday that doubled the amount that I had to refund to the other lady. It's amazing how God works when we're obedient to Him. :-)

Scripture Pendants

I just started making some more Scripture pendants. The other day in Staff Meeting (I work at a church) we read Proverbs 3 and verse 3 stuck out to me: "Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart." I determined then and there that I would stamp a necklace for people as a reminder to always be kind and loyal.

BE BLESSED - Psalm 114:14-15
PRAISE THE LORD - Psalm 103:1-2

It's been a while...

...since I've blogged! I guess I didn't feel I had anything newsworthy to present to you. But now I do! I'm working on some mini slide top tins that are perfect for the mini and medium stamped necklaces. They should be online in a week or two. I also ordered a dapping set so that I can make some of my stamped sterling into domed pendants. That should arrive today so I will be very busy tonight!
